I bought this specifically because it came highly recommended after getting the "Brasiliana" treatment on my hair. At first the way the shampoo smelled really turned me off. It really reminded me of wet dog smell. I then moved on to the conditioner and found this smell much more pleasant. It still has a "medicated" smell, but you can also smell a very fresh minty smell. If you can get past all that, you will not be sorry! This product costs as much as it does for a reason. My hair is soft and manageable even 3 MONTHS after I got the Brasiliana. Now I just have to get the treatment done again since my hair is growing out, but I can really tell you that styling my hair now takes half the time it used to before. With the combination of the Brasiliana and this product, you cannot go wrong.

Just when I was under the impression that any ole shampoo would do I decided to try Pureology...and I'm SO glad I did! I noticed a huge difference right away; less frizz, no damage, and best of all my color stayed on longer. If you find this product at a beauty store, one liter is over $60. Amazon offers it a great price for the two. You only use a dime size dollop for the shampoo - it lathers up really nice. I have thick, semi wavy hair and only wash it every other day. The conditioner I tend to use more of a quarter dollop and I love it. Leaves my hair smooth, silky and smelling wonderful.
