We bought ours Acer on the 3rd Dec 2009 and it went bad in july2010.The motherboard went bad.Thats gives it a lifespan of 7months.It's definitely a waste of good money and acer should be ashamed of themselves for ripping off good people.So don't let the looks fool you, right now we are using our old Dell and it's been around for a few years now.Don't buy Acer.

Hard drive fried in 5 months of light home use. Computer got amazingly slow, took it to geek squad and it's the hard drive. Hope warranty work is done quickly although it is not an easy task to get warranty replacement.
